Immigrated to Canada at the age of 9. Had to take ESL and learn English. I was determined to make my parents proud because they sacrificed so much for me. I experienced bullying as a child because I was different and didn’t “fit in” and later as a new graduate nurse. However, my positivity pushed me to see no other way, but to persevere, fight and yearn for continuous improvement. The first in my family to graduate, receive a bachelor’s and Master’s degree and soon to be a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

I am a certified badass, I hold a Master’s degree in nursing education and 6 Board certifications! I would love to coach you to level up in your career because your win is my win! I am truly an international nurse, I have held various nursing positions in both Canada and the US ranging from ED Staff Nurse, Travel Nurse, Charge Nurse, Educator, Adjunct Faculty role as a Clinical Instructor, and leadership positions such as the Director of Education. I loved each role, but which one do you think was my favorite?

I loved working with nursing students and New Graduate Nurses! Because I felt all those feelings as a new nurse and that’s why I have a special place in my heart for new nurses. I used humor, empathy and empowerment to show support! 

That feeling that you have when you keep doubting yourself. Thinking “ I am good enough?” Am I ready? Guess what!! Every nurse has those feelings, it is normal!! You are enough! You are fabulous!!
